This policy explains how Stern Direct Limited ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you use Stern Direct. We handle personal data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong and other applicable laws.

Data we collect

• Order data: name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, items purchased.
• Payment data: processed directly by our payment processor. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
• Communications you send us.
• Technical data: essential cookies/local storage (e.g. your cart), and basic server logs (IP address, browser type).

How we use it

• To process, ship and support your orders, including returns and refunds.
• To prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.
• To reply to your enquiries.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in.

Sharing

We share data only as needed with payment processors, logistics and fulfilment partners, IT/hosting providers, and authorities where required by law. Some providers may process data outside Hong Kong.

Retention

We keep order records as long as required for accounting, tax and legal purposes, then delete or anonymise them.
